THe hArlem renaissance
The Harlem Renaissance was a big time for the the arts in America. Harlem was a place in New York City that was full of African Americans. Some of these African Americans started becoming great artisans, or people skilled in an art. Some of the people above were part of the Harlem Renaissance. Many of the people in the Harlem Renaissance are still famous today, like the great trumpet player Louis Armstrong, or the famous poet Langston Hughes.
